26.02.2023. in Nazarje, Slovenia, the ninth meeting of representatives of the Center for Inclusion and Support in the Community, the Croatian Association of Associations of Persons with Intellectual Disabilities and the IPAK Institute for Symbolic Analysis and Development of Information Technologies from Velenje was held,
and who are partners in the project Improvement of Digital Skills of People with Intellectual Disabilities (IDEAL). During the meeting, the completed pilot education of the project and the necessary adaptations of the written and audio-video educational materials and the web platform were discussed. Also,
the partners agreed on further details related to the activities that will be held in Nazarje and Velenje in the next two days, and refer to the Conference on Accessibility and Use of Digital Technologies for People with Intellectual Disabilities. 19.01.2023. the seventh meeting of representatives of the Center for Inclusion and Support in the Community, the Croatian Federation of Associations of Persons with Intellectual Disabilities,
and the IPAK Institute for Symbolic Analysis and Development of Information Technologies from Velenje, which are partners in the project Improvement of Digital Skills of People with Intellectual, was held in Tuheljske Toplice. Disabilities (IDEAL). During the meeting, the pilot education of the project carried out so far and the necessary adjustments to the written and audio-video educational materials were discussed. It was agreed to hold the final conference of the project and an expert meeting on the topic Accessibility and use of digital technologies by people with intellectual disabilities, which will be held on February 27 and 28, 2023, in Nazarje and Velenje, Slovenia. On the third and fourth of November 2022, a meeting of representatives of the Center for Inclusion and Support in the Community, the Croatian Federation of Associations of Persons with Intellectual Disabilities, and the IPAK Institute for Symbolic Analysis and Development of Information Technologies from Velenje, which are partners in the Improvement of Digital Skills of People project, was held in Pula. with Intellectual Disabilities (IDEAL). The third meeting was in Pula on July 25, 2022. Educational materials prepared for pilot education were reviewed on it. After consideration, it was agreed that they should be placed on the Web platform and that the final version of the document would be prepared using the experience that will be gained during the realization of the pilot education.
The concept of the Web platform was also considered. After the discussion, the concept was accepted and it was agreed that the web platform will be ready for use by September 30, 2022. The partners agreed to prepare a project progress report The progress of the project was discussed at the second meeting in Pula on June 28, 2022. It was established that the activities are taking place according to the schedule. The partners have specially reviewed the analysis of user needs, and the situation in the field of digital skills of people with intellectual disabilities. Based on these two documents, the education program was accepted, which will be implemented during the pilot education of selected participants in Slovenia and Croatia.
It was agreed to hold a meeting in the wider group in Pula before the start of pilot training in September or October 2022. The first meeting of the project team was held in Tuheljske Toplice on March 12, 2022. Representatives of all partners were present. The project application was reviewed at the meeting,
the tasks to be performed by individual partners were considered. The method of monitoring the progress of the project and communication on the project was considered and accepted.
It was agreed that the website of the project
will be in Croatian, Slovenian and English, while the Web platform will be in Croatian and Slovenian.
